Privacy Policy

Mint Condition LLC respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our AI grading software and website. By using our Service, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

What Information We Collect

A. Personal Information

We may collect personally identifiable information ("Personal Data") that you voluntarily provide to us when you register or make a purchase, including:

  • Name and Email Address.

  • Billing Address (for verification purposes).

  • Note on Payment Data: We do not store your full credit card information. All financial transactions are processed by third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal), and we only retain limited information (such as the last 4 digits) for transaction verification.

B. Collectible Images and Metadata (The "Submission Data")

When you upload images of collectibles (trading cards, coins, comics, etc.) for grading:

  • We collect the image files and any associated metadata (file size, resolution, camera type).

  • We collect the results generated by our AI regarding that image.

C. Automatically Collected Data

When you access our Service, our servers automatically collect:

  • IP address.

  • Browser type and operating system.

  • Access times and pages viewed.

D. Google API Services User Data Policy

Mint Condition’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements

How We Use Your Information

A. To Provide the Service

We use your data to process transactions, generate AI Pre-Grades, and deliver the results to you.

B. AI Training and Improvement (Crucial Clause)

By uploading images to Mint Condition LLC, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • We retain the right to store your uploaded images indefinitely.

  • We use these images to train, retrain, and improve our machine learning algorithms and AI models.

  • These images are stripped of Personal Data (e.g., your name is not attached to the image in our training dataset) and used purely for technical analysis.

C. Communications

We may use your email to send you your grading results, transaction receipts, and—if you have opted in—marketing communications regarding new features.

Data Security & Retention

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your Personal Information. However, please be aware that no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information.

We retain Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes set out in this policy.

  • Account Data: Retained while your account is active.

  • Submission Data (Images): Retained indefinitely for AI training and historical benchmarking purposes.

Your Rights

Mint Condition LLC operates in compliance with the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA). However, we extend specific data protections to all users regardless of jurisdiction (including but not limited to CCPA/CPRA in California and GDPR in the EU/UK).

Users possess the following rights:

  • Right to Access/Portability: You may request a machine-readable export of your "Digital Vault" and submission history for integration into personal inventory systems.

  • Right to Deletion: You may request the removal of Personal Data (Name, Email, Billing).

  • Right to Opt-Out of Automated Decision Making: Users may opt-out of our AI-driven assessments; however, this renders the Service non-functional as Computer Vision Analysis is the core utility of the platform.

Per our "Model Integrity Protocol," Mint Condition LLC retains a perpetual, irrevocable right to utilize Submission Data (raw card images and AI-generated condition metadata) for the purpose of model training and algorithmic refinement.

Upon a "Request for Deletion," we will purge all Personal Identifiable Information (PII). However, the anonymized visual assets remain within our training set. These images no longer constitute "Personal Data" as they are decoupled from the user's identity and serve solely as technical benchmarks for centering, surface, and edge analysis.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your Personal Data to third parties for their marketing purposes. We only share data with:

  • Service Providers: Third-party vendors who perform services for us (e.g., payment processing, data hosting, email delivery). They are obligated to protect your data.

  • Legal Obligations: If required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or government agency).
